The urgent problem with digital goods on eBay is the prevalence of scams and fraud. Sellers can easily create fake listings for digital goods such as gift cards, software licenses, or virtual items, leading to buyers being deceived and losing their money. Additionally, the intangible nature of digital goods makes it harder for eBay to verify the authenticity of these items, making it a breeding ground for fraudulent activities. This poses a significant risk to both buyers and legitimate sellers on the platform. **
