Both Xanax and Codeine are central nervous system depressants, and taking them together can lead to dangerous levels of sedation, respiratory depression, and even overdose. Mixing these two medications can also increase the risk of side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and impaired coordination. It is important to always follow the advice of a healthcare professional and never mix medications without their guidance. **
