The separation of Paul and Barnabas means that they decided to part ways and pursue different paths in their missionary work. This decision was due to a disagreement they had over whether to take John Mark with them on their journey. Despite their separation, both Paul and Barnabas continued their ministry separately, spreading the message of Christianity to different regions. This event highlights that even among close partners in faith, differences in opinion can arise, leading to the need for individuals to follow their own calling. **

Christians generally do not accept the Gospel of Barnabas as an authentic or authoritative text. The majority of Christian scholars and theologians consider it to be a later Islamic forgery, written in the Middle Ages, rather than an actual account of the life of Jesus. They argue that it contains historical and theological inaccuracies that are inconsistent with the teachings of the New Testament. Therefore, Christians do not consider the Gospel of Barnabas to be a reliable source for understanding the life and teachings of Jesus. **
